Classes

6th Grade Class

The 6th grade class will cover responsibilities of a guest, proper seating and escort position, how to introduce oneself and shaking hands, how to offer and receive refreshments, basic dance instruction for multiple dances, when to rise, paying and receiving compliments, party courtesies, how to be seated or seat someone at the table, basic table manners, place settings, American style dining, telephone and electronic etiquette, responding to different kinds of invitations, sports etiquette and writing thank you notes.

 

There will be a 5-course dinner and dance at the end to provide students with an opportunity to practice the skills, etiquette and dance that they have been learning in a wonderful, exciting social situation.

 

Classes meet from January - April once a month             $199

7th Grade Class

The 7th Grade Class will continue to build on the skills learned in the previous year, as well as cover manners in public places, first impressions, the characteristics of a noble character, more dance instruction adding 2-3 new dance styles, interview etiquette and skills, dress codes, how to tie a tie (half Windsor knot) and bow tie, food etiquette, family etiquette, advanced table manners, how to be seated, cell phone etiquette, polite conversation, formal dinner guidelines, formal place settings for 5 course meals – both American and Continental, finger bowls, proper make-up application, and correspondance.

 

There will be a Winter Dance and a Spring Dance (the Spring Dance will include a 5-course dinner) - these are to provide students with an opportunity to practice the skills, etiquette and dance moves that they have been learning in a wonderful, exciting social situation.

 

Classes meet from September - April once a month             $299

8th Grade Class 

The 8th Grade Class will continue to build on the skills learned in the previous two years, as well as add making reservations, tipping, sports etiquette as a fan and as an athlete, how to be a guest and a host with grace and ease, photo etiquette, proper date etiquette, additional dance instruction adding 1-2 dance styles and what to say in awkward situations.

 

There will be a Winter Dance and a Spring Dance (the Spring Dance will include a 5-course dinner) - these are to provide students with an opportunity to practice the skills, etiquette and dance moves that they have been learning in a wonderful, exciting social situation.

 

Classes meet from September - April once a month             $299

 

We are excited to announce that all students who participate in our program for 2 or more years will be guaranteed an invitation to the prestigious Daffodil Ball at the Atlanta Country Club.

 

The Daffodil ball is a gathering of greater Atlanta's finest young ladies and gentlemen and is by invitation only

 

We feel very fortunate to be able to offer this to our students.

Dress Attire & Parents

Parents are always welcome to attend and take pictures.

 

Attire for class is: 

Girls: Dress or skirt and blouse, flat dress shoes

Boys: Khaki pants, belt, long sleeved button up shirt tucked in, dress shoes

 

Attire for Dances/ Dinners: 

Girls: Party dress and dress shoes

Boys: Coat and tie and dress shoes
